I've mothered my son literally from coast to coast – raised a baby in Silicon Valley, raised a toddler in the Chicago suburbs, and am transitioning him into school in North Jersey. I'm fascinated by the similarities and differences in raising children regionally and am still discovering just how to raise the Kiddo a quintessential "Jersey boy."
A former technology public relations professional, I currently write about family technology for Techlicious. Previously I've contributed to the Nintendo DS Guide for About.com (writing about kids' DS games), and recorded weekly podcasts about social media for the Blogging Angels. I'm a former contributor to the New Jersey Moms Blog (part of the Silicon Valley Moms Group), shared my introduction to NYC family hangouts on NYMetropolista, and wrote the "Techno Tools for Writers" column for Write On! Online. I blog about technology, toys, entertainment and our family travel adventures, or any charitable campaigns that cross my path at Coast to Coast Mom.
I love traveling as a family, exploring the greater NYC-area, catching up on TiVo, attending sporting events, knitting, shopping, and feeding my pop culture/news habit. I'm a life-long Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. . . and a proud Michigander!
