This Weekend I took Li'l Boo along to attend the "Wild Wild World: Awake at Night" program at the American Museum of Natural History. It was a talk about nocturnal animals led by Rob Mies the Director of the Organization for Bat Conservation at Cranbrook Insitute in Detroit. Let's Move: Parents Take Action Against Childhood Obesity

Recently the Silicon Valley Moms Group contributors were invited to participate on a call with U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack to discuss some of the new initiatives being put forth to improve the school lunch programs from a federal level. This call took place in support of Michelle Obama's Let's Move initiative launch today. Microsoft Xbox 360 Sneak Peek: Project Natal

Okay, so I receive email invitations or demo opportunities every now and again that leave me giddy the rest of the day...and this was one of those opportunities. I met c2cDad, Li'l Boo and a couple of friends to catch an advanced look at Microsoft Xbox 360's "Project Natal" earlier this week. WOW. A Memory-Making Dino Dinner: T-Rex Cafe at Downtown Disney

During our trip to Walt Disney World for Disney's Social Media Moms Celebration, we had one open evening to plan our own dinner and we knew exactly where we wanted to go: T-Rex Cafe. I would be remiss in celebrating Valentine’s Day without acknowledging the man and his team whom regularly entertain me and put me to bed. Changes Coming to Disney's Magic Kingdom And Cruise Line

Disney's Social Media Moms Celebration started off with a bang this evening as we attended a media conference to hear some of the additions coming to Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Cruise Line and the re-branded ESPN Wide World of Sports complex. Taking in Sesame Street Live: Elmo Grows Up Now at MSG

This morning we were lucky to attend a Sesame Street meet-n-greet and take in the Sesame Street Live: Elmo Grows Up show at Madison Square Garden. Li'l Boo was beyond the moon to see the "real live" Elmo and Cookie Monster before the show began! The lively show followed the usual children's show structure - about a 45 minute show, a 15 minute intermission, then a final 30 minute wrap-up and finale.
