I'm giddy - GIDDY! - about an opportunity that came up last month to attend Disney's Social Media Mom's celebration conference at Walt Disney World! We thought we were blessed when we visited Disneyland last fall, and now this opportunity to head to Florida and explore DisneyWorld has exceeded my expectations for 2010 already. I'm looking forward to taking Li'l Boo to the different Disney parks, enjoying some sunny days (hopefully), and meeting other moms with new blogs to follow. So very exciting!
Then came a sponsorship opportunity with SafetyTat that I'm pleased as pie about. (Ahem. Did ya notice that square button to the left?) SafetyTats are clever little temporary tattoos designed to help keep children connected with their families while traveling or visiting theme parks, stadiums, malls, airports, museums - anywhere you may run into crowds and the potential for getting separated.
These multi-award winning child tats are made of a micro-thin elastic and are applied like a sticker to your kid's hand or arm. You don't need water to apply them, they're waterproof, and can stay in place for up to two weeks. Oh yeah, did I mention they're customizeable? You can order them pre-printed with your own phone number, or order the Quick Stick Write-on SafetyTats that come with a marker to write in the "If lost, please call" phone number yourself. Created by a mom of three during a visit to an amusement park, they come in a variety of adorable designs for your kids, and are reasonably priced: a six-pack for $9.99 or an 18 pack for $19.99. (Note to #Disneysmmoms: I'll have some sample packs with me for you to check out and try yourselves!)
SafetyTat has taken their tats one step further by creating a line of allergy tats to alert anyone if your child has allergies as well. You could even forego personalizing it with your cell number and print them with school or team or troop numbers. Ooh - and check out these Valentine Kiss tats! They remind me of the book The Kissing Hand, and I'm sure the kiddo will be excited to wear one on Valentine's Day, even if we don't go anywhere that day.
GIVEAWAY: To make things easy for you to check 'em out, I'm hosting a SafetyTat giveaway: 6 winners total: 3 multi-pack Quick-Stick Write-on winners, and just in time for Valentine's Day - 3 Valentine's Tat package winners (winners will choose to receive boy or girl Valentine tats).
To enter, just leave me a comment below about SafetyTats (What would you like about these? Where would you take them to use? What would you like to see SafetyTat do next?, etc.) Winners will be chosen via Random.org on Monday February 8th at 10 p.m. EST. One entry per person. You don't have to be a blogger to win, but you must enter your email address into the comment form so that I can contact the winners to get mailing address information. First number chosen gets first choice at Valentine or SafetyTats, on until sixth winner is chosen. Good luck and safe family travels!
Full Disclosure: This giveaway is included as part of a conference sponsorship.

I've never heard of these before. Very cool! My daughter loves temporary tattoos. It'd be nice not to have one wash off in the tub.

These sound great! I have a little shoe tag for my son, but I like the idea of being able to change the contact info more easily.
