I'm giddy to share that I recently became an offical Little Passports: Global Travel Adventures ambassador. I say "official" because I've been casually evangelizing about Little Passports for kids for years in real life. Now they know I'm doing it. ;-) I'll be sharing about our experience with Little Passports here throughout the year.
I think it was about four years ago that I first subscribed to Little Passports, as I thought it was a terrific way to inspire the Kiddo to take an interest in our family travels, and pique his curiousity about other cultures, foods, sights, languages, histories and more. At that time, Little Passports only offered a global adventure pack subscription, that focused on a different country each month. We loved getting the package each month, and despite our excitement at the Kiddo receiving mail, we saved the packages for rainy or unscheduled days.
We enjoyed our subscription so much that we began gifting three-month subscriptions to friends. (It seems that the Kiddo always has a few birthday parties to attend each month, and it can be challenging finding a memorable and favorite gift for each kid. A monthly visit from Sam and Sofia seems unique, educational, and fun to me!)
That brings us to now, and Little Passports additionally offers a USA edition that features a different state each month. The USA edition is great for us now that we've completed our first roundt rip coast-to-coast road trip. The Kiddo has some first-hand familiarity with many of the states we've visited, so the state packages mean even more to him that he has some in real life sensory experiences to cull from. :-)
