I'm excited to share that I'm now an ambassador for The Campbell Soup Company's The Wisest Kid in the Whole World program! Thanks to my new sponsor, Campbell's, I'll be learning about Campbell's condensed soups and sharing what I discover with you - along with some other fun opportunities for all of us . . . like The Wisest Kid campaign!
While the cute commercials have already started airing on TV, today's the big day when Campbell's introduces The Wisest Kid to the world from Noon to 2 p.m. in Times Square NYC, and I'll be there :-)
Campbell's adorable "everykid" espouses wisdom as only an eight-year-old kid can. We all know the funny and wise things kids say. They observe and tell things as they are - without pretense, history or judgement, and it can be so simplified and sweet that everyone in the room laughs or nods in agreement.
On a recent trip to Chicago, I was getting ready in the hotel room to run to a work meeting while my son was playing MineCraft on the iPad. I was about to leave and asked The Kiddo and my husband if I looked okay. The Kiddo said - without looking up from the iPad - "You look GREAT!"
I said, "How do you know? You didn't even look at me!"
Without missing a beat, he kept playing and said, "I don't need to look at you. You always look beautiful." Then he looked up at me and smiled a smile that melted my heart.
C2cDad burst out laughing from across the room. We have no idea where The Kiddo thought to say that. He's obviously wiser than his years - and his dad in that situation! ;-)
What are some of the wise and funny things your kids say?? What have your kids pointed out that you hadn't considered? Tell me in the comments or enter them into The Wisest Kid widget and let me know you're having fun with the program.
If you're in NYC today, come to the Campbell's event from Noon until 2 p.m. in Times Square to meet The Wisest Kid - and me! Be sure to follow @TheWisestKid on Twitter for updates and "like" Campbell's Condensed Soup on Facebook. Check out the Campbell's Condensed Soup site to explore more, and look for more opportunities to engage with Campbell's this fall and winter with me in the coming months.
I'll update you on my experience with Campbell's today, later this week!
